CSX 5115 at Sykesville on 8/13/04

My daily commute has a few grade crossings. Here's a little rainy
afternoon shot from last June.

Midland units at work, just a short ride from home.

Railfanning near Myersdale PA, just below the Salisbury Viaduct.

Scratchbuilding has become a favorite part of the hobby for me. Here is the
Thurmont MD station, built from photos using the length and width
measurements of the foundation to extrapolate all the needed measurements to
build the station. It is mounted on my inside-out corner module of the FCSME
layout. Yes, it's not Thurmont, but it looked too good to leave on the shelf.

Maryland Midland GP9 #200 with the "Entertrainment" excursion train. I
worked for 2 years as a conductor on the prototype of this train. Best damn
part time job I ever had!

In addition to the Maryland Midland, I
model the Western Maryland Railway. The best part of this is, the MMID runs
on former WM rails, so I can model 1 area, yet run 2 railroads on it!!!!

Midland on the modules, with a little CGI backdrop!!

A 2-8-0 at the coaling tower, with an admirer!!

A pair of 2-8-0s with a 9 car excursion pass a sister simmering next to
the shop.

Any ideas of parentage??
